Print from the book “Les Oiseaux d'Amérique” the masterpiece of the Franco-American ornithologist and artist, Jean Jacques AUDUBON, published between 1827 and 1838, this work is composed of 4 volumes, in Double Elephant format (68 x 101 cm), containing 435 hand-colored engravings of birds, which became one of the most expensive books in the world, worth ten million euros. Its reissue was produced by scanning the original engravings and inkjet printing with a 12-color printer operating with 18,000 nozzles. The prints which were made sheet by sheet on 310g/m2 pure cotton art paper are identical to the originals, with a special edition limited to 200 numbered copies, of which the proposed model “Caroline Parrot” bears the number ° 12/200.
