Mid-18th century chest of drawers in Regency style, stamped F * F by master cabinetmaker François Fleury established on rue Traversière in Paris. Rosewood veneer, original gilded bronze fluting, very beautiful Rance marble known as Rouge Royal or Rouge Louis XIV. All elements good from the period except the handles changed in the 19th century and the rear right foot redone more recently. Various alterations over the centuries.
