"Japan - Usubata Vase - Bronze - Ikebana - Meiji"
a ring. Pretty patina revealing finely sculpted leaves. Very good general condition. Period: Meiji era (1868 - 1912). Dimensions: Height: 25 cm; Diameter: 30.5 cm.' Ikébana, also known as kadō, “the way of flowers” or “the art of bringing flowers to life”, is a traditional Japanese art based on floral arrangement. The vases were made in the same villages where floral art was taught.
