Very beautiful bronze table medal with its support representing an erotic scene. Signed Trémois at the top left of the front. Diameter 8 cm Weight 240g Pierre-Yves Trémois, born January 8, 1921 in Paris and died August 16, 2020 in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, is a French designer, painter, engraver and sculptor. He was a member of the Academy of Fine Arts. Linked to a family of publishers close to artists (Éditions Pierre Trémois), Pierre-Yves Trémois is the son of the writer Eugène Florimond “Edge” Trémois (1885-1963) and Yvonne Robiquet. After studying at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris where he was a student of Fernand Sabatté, Pierre-Yves Trémois obtained, in 1943, the first Grand Prix de Rome for painting and devoted himself to chisel and water -strong from 1944 to begin a work which is estimated at more than a thousand engravings. He died at age 99 on August 16, 2020.
