What attracted us to this work was its subject. This chapel has a special charm on Van Point, with its breathtaking view of the raz de sein. It's a place that hasn't often been immortalized in painting. If you've ever been to the Pointe du Raz, you won't have missed this little chapel overlooking the Bay of the Dead. It stands alone on the moor, facing the ocean. A mythical, mystical place!

Robert Bussy (20th) Painter born in Paris. Little is known about this artist. In 1946, he exhibited landscapes and views of Montmartre, and took part in the Salon d'Hiver ("Versailles: le bosquet de la Reine", "Vénus de Coysevox"); he is listed in the dictionary of Salons published in 1948.
