"Auguste Jean: Fabulous Vase With Salamandre"
Here is an unusual piece, attributed to Auguste JEAN, from the ART NOUVEAU period, circa 1880. This vase is absolutely splendid!! Admire the composition, the enamel, the play of colors, a real journey to the world of tropical fauna and flora! The salamander seems to be hanging from the branches... As always with Auguste JEAN, the colors are vibrant, the style assumed, high in relief, completely crazy for a piece from 1880! The vase is in perfect condition except for a microscopic missing at the end of the salamander's tail. Beautiful dimensions: Height 23.5 cm Diameter at the neck 9.5 cm Weight 1.4 kg
