"Chalice In Silver And Bronze, France Around 1900"
Chalice in gilded silver and gilded bronze (foot and barrel) in neo-Gothic style. The Chalice has a circular foot with projection and fillet and surmounted by a tubular stem fitted with a collar and a flattened toric knot supporting a conical silver-gilt cup. A cross pattée is engraved on the terrace of the foot. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmark Master Goldsmith hallmark: LB Height: 20 cm Foot: 12.5 cm Weight: 450 gr Seal: a small silvered bronze paten. Diameter: 10 cm Good condition / without shocks or deformations Note: a small crack on the edge of the foot and a small loss on the back of the knot.
