Ivory okimono representing the God Shoki, slayer of Oni, one of the seven Sichi Fukujin, the Gods of happiness, accompanied by two Oni, one which he holds stuck under one foot, the other, at the top of his head playing with a mogugyo. Signed under the base, Japan Meiji period. Height: 25.5cm
