Radical Robot Yoshiya Japan

Yoshiya's radical robot is an iconic robot marketed in the early   60s. It was available in chief robot gray, radical blue and Moon robot white. His head is just magnificent with his squeaky Basquiat mouth!!!! his actions are also fantastic: bump and go: he slides to the ground when he encounters an obstacle his head turns his antenna spin his eyes light up to scann his surroundings  and he makes "cric cric" noises as if he was thinking then he changes direction and slips again .This engaging  action  was arranged by an ingenious gear transmition . chief was featured inAlden's catalogue in christmas book 62priced at 3,99.
this splendid robot has been copied a lot like all the iconic robots, by ahah toys and schilling. on the copies the front circular red button has horizontal streaks while the original is vertical. But the fluid action is rather ectic in chinese copuies maybe because the inside mechanism is in plastic but rather incredible that in 2024 they cannot make a fluid action like in 62!!
this robot is in good condition a little corrosion around the door which is a replacement door and therefore has a slightly different tone because we no longer do lead paint which had a moire effect. the battery compartment is clean, a few rust pitting but nothing prohibitive it comes with a reproduction box
an interesting datail the band at the back of the head is blue generally its cream like the head 
a  marvelous robot now difficult to find in the original version.base of any seriuys collection with robby,smoking spaceman ,alps tv etc
