"Heraldic Lion In Carved Wood, Old Store Sign 19th Century 19th"

Carved wooden store sign, probably dating from the second half of the 19th century, depicting a prancing lion on its hind legs. The front legs are designed to allow the bar to pass which allowed it to be suspended from a stem. We also note the presence of fixing hooks on one of the sides. Height 54 cm. Very decorative and in good general condition despite some small losses, under a beautiful patina.
