Large bronze sculpture with medal patina depicting "La petite liseuse" by French sculptor Mathurin Moreau. Signed on the terrace “Moreau.Math / hors competition”. Very beautiful edition from the second half of the 19th century, around 1880. Great quality of details and superb patina in excellent condition. On its original double pedestal, one of them allowing the sculpture to rotate without having to lift it (significant weight / approximately 14 kg). A classic sculpture of beautiful dimensions, expressive and very decorative.
