The decoration of the clock takes on the attributes of the Louis XVI style.
A beaded oval medallion surrounds two kissing birds, symbolizing Spring in Love.
The medallion is held by a garland of flowers joining the sides of the clock.
The central enameled dial is marked "HOPILLIART" and located at "12 rue des Saints-Pères Paris".
The bezel protecting the dial is made of beveled glass. Note 2 small accidents on the periphery of the glass on its internal side (see photo).
The clock is surmounted by a vase on a pedestal with ram's heads.
The cover lifts and frees up space that can accommodate the key. Clock striking the hours and half-hours.
Clock in working order.
Gilded bronze in a good state of conservation.
