Carved wood representing a demon (oni) with long horns.
Aggressive expression of the head with two long teeth protruding from the mouth. Frowning eyebrows accentuate the eyes, which have golden bottoms in red cavities.
The first third of the horns is covered with a black crusty lacquer, ending with a brown lacquer identical to the head and back.
In the center of the head, a brass tenon allows for additional ornamentation.
Below, a rectangular recess allows the maedate to be attached to the kabuto. And on each side, rods are provided for ears.
Very good condition.
