"Louis XVI Period Sauteuse Commode "
Rare and elegant small jumping chest of drawers from the end of the 18th century. Entirely in satin veneer, restored and buffer varnished. Opening with 2 drawers mounted as in the 18th century. This piece of furniture has its original locks... It is topped with thick sea green marble. It bears the G.CORDIÉ stamp and the Jurande hallmark in two places. Guillaume Cordié (1725 - 1785) - cabinetmaker, Master on June 18, 1766. He worked on rue de Charonne until his death. Most of his works are linked to the transitional style Louis XV to Louis XVI.
