Bureau LOUIS XV estampillé Alexandre Chevrié
Superb LOUIS XV style desk in marquetry made by Alexandre CHEVRIE cabinetmaker art circa 1870. He received the silver medal at the exhibitions of 1870 AND 1889. This office made of marquetry is decorated with beautiful golden bronzes fully screwed which is a guarantee of quality for this piece of furniture. The front features three drawers with stamp on the central lock. The back of the visitor side is decorated with the simulation of three drawers. The tray is surrounded by a bronze mould; it is covered with a tan leather decorated with iron in fine gold. It rests on 4 curved feet dressed in beautiful closed clogs. This elegant and refined desk made by this talented cabinetmaker in the spirit of 18th century furniture reflects quality and superiority of this great master. It will illuminate any type of interior with its shine.
