Napoleon III Style Basket Ceiling Chandelier In Bronze And Crystal, Late 19th Century

Large Napoleon III style ceiling chandelier in gilded bronze and crystal pendants. Half basket shape, it attaches directly to the ceiling. Lovely decoration of acanthus leaves at the top and an intermingled acanthus frieze a little lower. The pendants are crystal octagons. In the lower part, another acanthus frieze in gilded bronze. The gilding is original, just cleaned, there are still a few stains to finish reviving. Lighting is provided by 5 B22 bayonet LED bulbs, the electrical wires have been changed.
