"4 Drawings By Paul René Schutzenberger, Landscapes"
Paul René Schutzenberger trained at L'Académie Jullian with Jean Paul Laurens. He exhibited at the SAF from 1889, at the Indépendants from 1902 and at the SNBA from 1906. His drawings are in a Japanese style, close to that of the Nabis artists. 1- The house with the tree, 24.5 x 32.5cm 2- Country road, 22 x 32.5cm 3- The bridge, 19.2 x 23cm 4- Trees, 24.7 x 32.5cm All drawings are signed with the workshop stamp, the road and trees are signed lower left and dated 1914.
