18th century Italian desk.

Transition period, end of the Louis XV era.

Walnut and walnut veneer, rectangular top with rounded corners

Top decorated with 4 briar squares arranged within a strip of wooden fillet.
5 drawers on the front:
A central drawer with two rows of drawers on each side.

The drawers have slightly raised edges.
The desk is elegantly crafted on both the front and back and can be positioned in the center of the room.
Opening for the front legs in the shape of a rounded arch on the front and on the back, even more decorated, with a combination of different colored woods.
Drawers veneered in walnut root.

The wavy legs typical of the Louis XV style with Tuscan connotations.

There are some scratches.
Requires minor restorations, locks and polishing.
