"3 Drawings By René Paul Schutzenberger, The Sinners"
Paul René Schutzenberger trained at L'Académie Jullian with Jean Paul Laurens. He exhibited at the SAF from 1889, at the Indépendants from 1902 and at the SNBA from 1906. His drawings are in a Japanese style, close to that of the Nabis artists. 1- 3 fishermen, 22.5 x 28.5cm 2- Fisherman's wife, 23.5 x31cm 3- 2 fishermen, 21.5 x 32.5cm The 3 designs bear the stamp of the workshop at the bottom right.
