Hand-engraved cameo on shell. Italian workmanship, typical of Naples and the areas around Vesuvius.
Similar cameos were sold to travellers, attracted by the archaeological areas of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
In excellent condition.
With antique chain with blue milk glass beads.
