Louis XVI period mirror. - Frame dimensions: 520 x 280 mm / glass: 214 x 157 mm. Lovely little rectangular mirror from the Louis XVI period; gilded with leaf. Molded and beaded frame topped with an openwork pediment decorated with a flower pot decorated with scrolls ending in ears of wheat. Each of the corners of the frame is occupied by tassels. The lower part is decorated with pine cones. Mercury ice cream. Some pitting affecting the ice. Some scattered superficial alterations and a small chip on one of the ears. The whole remains attractive; despite some marks of use mentioned.
