Interesting Longwy vase commissioned by the Pomone workshop under the direction of René Prou. The Pomone workshop is a department of the Parisian department store Le Bon Marché, which developed under the direction of great masters of art deco, such as Paul Follot or René Prou, a rich range of quality furniture and decorative objects following the latest fashion trends between the two wars. It was René Prou who designed the objects entrusted for manufacturing to the famous Longwy factory, specialized in crackles. This delightful little step vase bears the mark of both establishments.
