Large enameled ceramic (earthenware) holy water pitcher with religious decoration. In the middle the representation of the Virgin of Mercy surrounded by small angels with trumpets and heads of winged cherubs, resting on the "TALAVERA" cartridge (place of its production in Spain: Talavera de la Reina, well known for its earthenware since the Roman Antiquity). The entire surface is decorated with numerous bouquets of flowers, birds and plant ornaments. Period: late early XIX.century. Small chips of enamel on the edge at the top.
