Very rare Empire style antechamber lounge set in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. This set includes: -2 armchairs with carved swan armrests -6 chairs with lyre backs -1 pedestal table with caryatids The set is decorated with brass fillets on the backs, legs and top of the pedestal table. Ornaments with cheeky brass swans on the top of the backs, the lyres of the chairs in patinated brass. The top of the pedestal table receives a brass decoration in the middle, the jambs with the heads and feet of caryatids. This complete set must have been in an anteroom living room of a beautiful residence. The upholstery trimmings are in very good condition, as is the bronze green velvet. The whole thing is in very good house condition, the pedestal table has a water stain and a crack on the top. Period at the very end of the 19th century around 1895-1900.
