Born in Paris, Emile Voyez exhibited at the "Salon des artistes français" in Paris from 1873 to 1892. This annual exhibition brought together the best painters and sculptors of the moment. Emile Voyez died in his hometown in 1895.
He is included in the reference book “The Bronzes of the 19th Century” by Pierre Kjellberg (page 646), which lists the best-known sculptors of this era.
