""prismenkanne" In Pewter - 18th Century"

Hexagonal pewter wine bottle called "Prismenkanne", equipped with a tubular spillway with an articulated valve and a screw cap topped with a fixed vertical ring.
Hallmark of Mathaeus II BAUER active from 1775 to approximately 1800.
Beautiful countermark with the interior background almost impossible to photograph given the size of the opening, a reproduction of this mark is taken from the bibliography mentioned below.
Height: 28.8 cm.
CHUR (COIRE in French), canton of GRISONS, Last quarter of the 18th century


Good condition, a consolidation of the transport ring is however indicated by a red arrow on one of the photos.
