"Restoration Period Chest Of Drawers. Mahogany Veneer And Bronzes. Around 1820. 19th Century"
Mahogany veneer chest of drawers on oak with three drawers with its bronzes and key. Original gray marble top on the upper belt. Still imbued with the Empire style and very characteristic of the style of the first productions from the Restoration period (1820-1825), this chest of drawers has two ball legs at the front and two straight legs at the back. Large smooth veneer surfaces. You can hardly see the separation between the different drawers. A few small chips to note on the front (see photos) but which do not detract from the old-fashioned charm of this elegant chest of drawers. Thickness of marble 3 cm Width of marble 52 cm Length of marble 98 cm Each drawer: 40 cm deep and 73 cm wide
