"Large Procession Cross 17th Century "
Beautiful and large processional cross in carved, gilded and polychrome wood. It has a double-sided decoration, Christ on one side and the Virgin on the other. Original gilding and polychromy never repeated. A small volute of the upper arm of the cross needs to be glued back on, otherwise in good condition. Probably southern France or Spain or even Italy. Very beautiful object of religious art, rare and very decorative. Dimensions: 81cm by 59cm. 17th century period.
