“art Nouveau” Display In Pewter, After Brateau

AFTER JULES BRATEAU (1844-1923)
Circular DISPLAY with navel, decorated with flowers, rows of pearls and openwork.
Diameter: 28 cm.
Post-mortem edition around 1960 of the model created in 1887. This is the display of the so-called “Persian” ewer (see last photo) carrying the three hallmarks used by the founders GRAS and ETIENNE in ANGERS.

Post-mortem prints never include the "au gibet" counter-mark used by Jules Brateau.
In a perfect condition.
The pieces from the molds of Jules BRATEAU, contemporary with the artist or post-mortem published by GRAS and ETIENNE are always of exceptional fineness of casting.
