Pedestal Table In Mahogany, Pear Wood, And Gilded Bronzes. Louis XVI period. In the Taste of Molitor. The ocotogonal and tilting top has a so-called “radiant” decoration. It is divided into eight sectors veneered with mahogany in frames of pear wood fillets. Center decorated with a pear tree circle. The tripod base, pierced with moldings, is topped by a central shaft decorated with fine gadroons and gilded bronze rings. At the base of the barrel, "lamp base" decoration finished with a gilded bronze acorn.
