Belgian or Dutch School 18th century, "Animated scene in a landscape" Circa 1750, Gouache on vellum laid down on cardboard, In very good fresh condition, with a tear at the top right. Dimensions with its 18th century frame: H.28cm x L.22cm The authorship of the Belgian or Dutch school is confirmed by the style of the costumes, the shape of the tricorns, and especially the architecture of the castle and its roof, and the man at left holding a white earthenware pipe typical of the productions in the Namur region and/or Holland in the 18th century. Pretty gouache full of charm.
