"Salt Bottle Forming A Gun-shaped Vinaigrette"
Rare silver and vermeil vinaigrette in the shape of a revolver. The barrel and barrel of the gun serve as a perfume holder, the handle acting as a vinaigrette, with a chiselled silver-gilt grille. The hallmarks on the barrel are illegible due to wear over time. However, other perfectly legible hallmarks are present on the small coins which can be attributed to the town of Chester for the year 1891 and to the master silversmith George Ward.
