Lovely doll from Mechelen representing St. Marguerite and her dragon. Malinois workshop around 1500/1520. Rare iconography and quite uncommon way of presenting hair very separated from the body. Linden. 28 cm. Mark with 3 blades partly hidden by a nail to the left of the old collection label. Missing hands accident formerly restored to the neck. Rare
