Object description :

"Water Pot, In Pewter. Angers? Late 18th Century."
Low, pom-shaped body, on pedestal. Flared collar with beak. Flat, ribbed handle, decorated with foliage at the top. It seems plausible to attribute this type of pot to ANGERS. The entire surface has parallel scratch lines, which can be interpreted as a decorative effect, unless they are the results of an inadvertent attempt at cleaning. Height: 15.5 cm. Light satin patina. Numerous micro shocks and scratches from use. Period: Late 18th century. Very good condition. Free shipping by COLISSIMO for mainland France.
