This wall lamp dates back well before the discovery of electricity! It was therefore electrified at the end of the 19th century. The electrical wires were then made of cotton. They were replaced by modern wires during the second electrification. .Note that the original bulb holders are made of wood. The mirror is surmounted by 2 putti holding an urn, it is surrounded by a frieze with scrolls decorated with bunches of grapes. The bobeches have been replaced, given their condition , by recent glass bobeches (20th century).
