He regularly exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1910, mainly animal subjects in a style realistic. He particularly appreciates direct carving on wood. First silver medal in 1921, gold medal in 1934 awarded by the SAF. He participated in numerous exhibitions: International Exhibition of Brussels, Colonial Society of French Artists, Salon of Animal Artists, International Exhibition of Decorative and Industrial Arts – Legion of Honor in 1934. In 1924, he received a travel grant awarded by the CSBA (Higher Council of Fine Arts) and discovered Algeria and Tunisia. After the war, he settled in Tunis where he still lived in the 1940s. The National Museum of Fine Arts in Algiers keeps several works by this artist.
