René DELAVAN (? - 1958)
Large “ART DECO” CUP in pewter with a flared umbilicus, decorated with three concentric series of repeating rectangular patterns stamped around the umbilicus. The rim is adorned with a so-called “welded” molding characteristic of this artist.
R.DELAVAN autograph signature and mark.
Diameter: 34.5 cm.
PARIS, Circa 1930/35

Perfect condition, unacquired patina.
One of the most famous brassworkers of this time, active in 1926 in Paris.
