Dimensions: 41" x 31" approximately framed Provenance: The John Davies Gallery, June 1998 The artist Maurice Grün studied at the Kunstakademie in Munich. He then went to Paris, and entered the Académie Julian where he studied with Jules Lefebvre, Tony Robert-Fleury and Benjamin-Constant. He is best known for his nightscapes and moonlight effects. He exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
