Oil on hardboard representing polo players in action, painted in the 1940s by Edmund Pick-Morino. (1877-1958) Born in Hungary, he painted various subjects, still lifes, portrait genre scenes, landscapes, bouquets of flowers. He stayed in France. Scenes of polo players are recurrent in his work. We will appreciate the way of using the support as an element of the painting. And his fluffy technique. The painting is unsigned, but bears a period exhibition label bearing his name on the back. An original frame accompanies the painting
