Henri Barnoin 1882-1940 Emblematic painter of Brittany and prolific artist, he was born in Paris in an artistic environment, located at 37, rue Madame. He was a student of Luc-Olivier Merson at the École des Beaux- Arts of Paris, his true master and inspiration will be Émile Charles Dameron, it is to him that he owes his taste for the always very lively port and market scenes.
