Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc is depicted in meditation, full-length and in armour, head bowed, clutching her sword to her chest. Her gauntlets and helmet are placed on the cippus at the back left, and a palm leaf is affixed to the front of the base.
Based on the original marble work dated 1837, which was so successful that it was distributed by the Susse foundry in 1839.
