Prestigious model presenting a central band composed of openwork scrollwork on the front and a frieze of scrolls on the top, two cylindrical bases support this central band, one in the shape of rudenté columns decorated with asparagus supporting a vase with heads of satyrs, a flame at the top, the second smallest is fluted and decorated with a garland, it supports a generous pine cone.
Parisian work of very good quality stamped VB on the irons and on the reverse of the headband, also numbered (1000).
An identical copy joined the National Furniture collections in 2008, same stamp, same size, inventory number: GML-11124-000.
Very good condition, beautiful gilding.
