Pretty portrait of a young woman at her desk dating from the first half of the 19th century. The character represented in this oil on canvas writes a letter in pen with his left hand over his heart. We can imagine that she is speaking to her beloved. A basket containing balls of yarn and knitting needles is at her feet.Dimensions: 56cm x 47cm.
