Still life entitled Garden Gourds, by Frederick Arthur JESSUP, signed lower right. Dimensions excluding stretcher: 50 x 61cm Born in Victoria in 1920, he studied at East Sydney Tecnichal College and was awarded the New South Wales Traveling Scholarship in 1945. He moved to France in 1948, living there for the rest of his life, although he returned to exhibit in Australia. He has also produced sold-out exhibitions in Paris, New York, Washington and Los Angeles.
