Oval butter dish with contoured edge in Delft earthenware with blue monochrome decoration of flowers and foliage scrolls. Taken from the lid in the shape of a fish (herring?). Marked P for the factory "Le Plat de porcelaine" period of Johannes Peunis (1723-1763). Eighteenth century.
Length: 15.5cm. Height: 9.5 cm. Some visible chips and missing enamel.
