Impressive service of vermeil dessert cutlery of the fidle and thread pattern engraved with the alliance coats of arms of the families of La Croix and Béthune. The forks and spoons are struck with Belgian silver guarantee hallmarks for the period 1814-1831. The mother-of-pearl and vermeil knives are hallmarked "au Viellard", a French guarantee hallmark for the period 1819-1838. All the pieces are in good condition and are still kept in their 19th century box with its small key. Forks and spoons weigh 2680 grams for the 48 pieces, the 24 knives weigh 1000 grams, more or less half of which is silver.
