SUPERB set of 6 drawings by Charles Bichet representing portraits, young women, children etc..., pencil, red chalk, chalk or pastel. All signed, format of the largest 47x31cm and the smallest 30x23cm. Price of the set of 6 drawings €730 or see unit price in the description of each. In the order of the photos: - Portrait of a young woman in red chalk, enhanced with pastel and white chalk, signed by the painter's hand at the bottom right. Good condition, slight folds and imperfections at the edges but this would be almost im^perceptible once framed, as delivered without frame. Price of this drawing alone: €180 - Portrait of a young girl with glasses, charcoal, signed by the painter's hand at the bottom right. Very good condition, delivered without frame. Very good condition, slight folds at the edges, without frame Price of this drawing alone: €180 I no longer present Charles Bichet, one of the most famous Limougeaud painters with Eugène Allluaud and Léon Jouhaud his son-in-law, also listed among the painters of the school de Crozant Charles Théodore Antoine Bichet was born on December 15, 1863 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. He is a student of Edmond Lechevallier-Chevignard at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists notably in 1903, 1904 and 1905. In 1884, he began teaching drawing in schools in the City of Paris. Initially a classical painter and watercolorist, he then turned to post-impressionism and Fauvism from 1902/1903. Charles-Théodore Bichet died on March 28, 1929 in Limoges
