Large and wide vase, probably an ancient cauldron from the Kachkai culture originating from ancient Persia, from the 19th century.
It presents a magnificent work of engraving on copper and bronze, in very good state of conservation.
Intertwined plants, stars, flowers, medallions, foliage fill almost the entire surface of this utilitarian object, composing a very elaborate epigraphic decoration.
Two large, securely fixed handles as well as the collar are made of bronze.
This superb large piece gives us a refined example of the art of chasing and engraving on copper and bronze of Persian culture.
