"Fan "
Basket fan, which was used to appear, hide one's face, whisper, simper in the dressing rooms during theatrical performances in the 19th century. It was made of blonde tortoiseshell and trimmed with precious black Chantilly lace. It came to us in its satin-lined case, coming from Maison Ernest Kees, supplier to all the Courts of Europe, 9 Boulevard des Capucines in Paris.
