"Marquetry Cabinet Louis XVI Period"
Bonheur du jour in rosewood veneer, framed with Greek fillets, and decorated with simulated grooves on the uprights. It opens two sliding doors, three small drawers, a pivoting writing top, and a large belt drawer. It is stamped with Fidelys Schey, Master in 1777, under the left crossbar of the piece of furniture. Louis XVI period. 18th century. Fidelys Schey, a prolific cabinetmaker, established himself on rue du fg St Antoine, where he produced Transition and especially Louis XVI furniture.
